Leading large multifunctional development, you'll be solving complex problems and acting as a source of expertise.Responsibilities - Providing design input across a product - Serving as the primary point of contact for external technology resources - Working directly with customers and end users - Acting as an acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issues - Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements - Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues - Designing and working with complex data models - Mentoring lead software developers interested in consultancy in development methodologies and optimization techniquesRequirements--- Very strong knowledge building scalable distributed systems in a commercial software development environment.--- A track record of success in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines with large distributed systems in an agile environment (HPCC, Hadoop, Apache Spark---, Flink Beam, Airflow, or similar).--- Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java / Scala, ECL, Python, C/C++, XML, XSLT, and JSON.--- Experience in designing and working with complex data models.--- Experience in Unix/Linux environments, content processing/enrichment/delivery, and systems/software architecture.--- Expertise with working in a cloud environment such as Azure or AWS.--- Displays prowess with data manipulation languages, including optimization techniques.--- Stong experience working with relational & No SQL Databases.---Expertise working with containerized platforms and tools: Docker and Cloud orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes are a plus.--- Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Source code management tools.--- Experience working with Web Services (SOAP or REST) and parsing JSON and XML data.--- Ability to partner with internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.--- Implement development processes and coding best practices, and conduct code reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and performance in our content processing pipelines.--- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and knowledge of industry best practices in development.--- The position requires frequent interaction with the product owners, engineering teams, and other cross-functional technology teams to troubleshoot problems related to content enrichment and delivery.Work in a way that works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization, with various flexible and remote working options available to employeesWorking with UsLexisNexis Legal & Professional is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
