Description:The Technical Trainer will support the credit union in developing the skills and knowledge of its staff through the analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation of effective systems training. Responsible for creating, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Serves as a liaison between vendor system developers/administrators and staff. Prepare customer service and system training for the call center. Normal Day-to-Day Work

  • Design, develop and update technical classroom and online training that engages participants in active learning and develops their understanding and expertise in credit union systems, products, services, processes, and procedures.
  • Coordinate Experience Center (Call center) training for member service representatives including systems, soft skills and problem solving.
  • Analyze system software and hardware to understand functionality to create training materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Review and edit documentation for compliance, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and standardization.
  • Deliver systems and other training and provide follow-up, reinforcement, and sustainability activities.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that training is completed efficiently and within the deadline.
  • Continually assess training programs and effectiveness, and actively ensure the organization is up to date and current with latest learning standards, methods, tools as well as credit union industry laws, regulations, compliance standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operational teams, vendors and consultants to meet training needs.
  • Coordinate new hire training processes, such as assigning training, new hire communication and verifying training requirements have been met.
  • Support team initiatives such as ecourse design, multimedia editing, communication, storyboarding and LMS administration task. Job QualificationsHere are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.
  • BS/BA degree in Learning and Development, Education, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Three to Five years of experience developing and delivering technical training in a professional environment using classroom, multimedia, and blended methods.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships, contribute as a team member, work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to function in a office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).
  • Travel required on occasion. Here are a few qualifications we'd LIKE you to have to make you more suited for this position.
  • Financial services knowledge and/or experience.
  • Sales and customer service training experience.
  • Administration of a learning management system.
  • Experience with Fiserv DNA.
