Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Correctional Facility - Full Time in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue05:45 AM - 06:00 PMThur05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and client policies. Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner as part of daily duties. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
