Eaton's Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure Division is currently seeking a Sr. Program Administrator - Certifed Payroll & Timekeeping to join our team. This position is based in Raleigh, NC with potential consideration for remote work. The Sr. Program Administrator - Certified Payroll & Timekeeping is a critical addition to the Critical Power and Digital Infrastruction (CPDI) Service team. As a government service contractor, Eaton's CPDI Service team maintains a certified payroll program in compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws. The Sr. Program Administrator will lead certified payroll execution and compliance for the national workforce of Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) executing public works projects. Additionally, the Sr. Program Administrator will act as the primary owner of CPDI Service timekeeping program for both CSEs and other non-exempt Service support staff (-350 users). This role will drive payroll/timecard process improvements while also delivering excellent customer service. Additional partners to this role include operations leaders, operations administrators, HR, and finance. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: * Lead the processing and execution of certified payroll reporting as required by federal/state/local public works projects.
* Act as primary owner of CPDI Service timekeeping program, called eTimecard - processing and auditing timecard data for weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles.
* Create strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure certified payroll and eTimecard processes and/or systems are working efficiently
* Audit timecard activities to ensure 100% accuracy on a semimonthly and weekly basis
* Explore areas to improve workflow among different functions; streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity in certified payroll and timekeeping processes and/or systems
* Partnering with appropriate parties, assesses and and resolves system issues encountered with eTimecard.
* Implements, tests, and deploys all system changes to the eTimecard.
* Completes various timecard reporting required for accuracy and compliance.
* Acts as escalation point for support to employees as it relates to discrepancy with timekeeping and systems issues.
* Other related administrative duties may be assigned. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
* Minimum two (2) years experience working with payroll and/or timekeeping programs
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
* Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC in order to be considered for this role. Preferred qualifications: * Certified payroll program execution experience, especially across multiple states/localities
* Prior experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.)
* Prior distributed workforce or construction industry experience
