Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedics -

hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - Orthopedics Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night
shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend coverage
required (Saturday and Sunday) • No call responsibilities • Float
to other units as needed • Must be willing to work as Charge RN
when required • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required •
Previous travel experience required • Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required • EPIC charting system experience
required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts
allowed) • Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients • 24 hours of
orientation provided • Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic and
medical surgical patients • Telemetry monitoring experience
required • Must be comfortable with high acuity patients from ED •
Experience with total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and
various surgical procedures • Must have skills in
accessing/managing ports, PCA, surgical drains, tracheostomy care,
telemetry monitoring, wound care, and blood product administration
Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 32-bed orthopedic
unit that provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric
patients. The unit features telemetry monitoring capabilities and
includes an on-unit physical therapy gym that allows patients to
receive rehabilitation services without leaving the floor. The
facility maintains a daily census of approximately 28 patients and
offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams,
physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
services. The unit accommodates various patient populations from
routine orthopedic procedures to high-acuity emergency department
patients. Location: Burlington, NC Burlington offers a perfect
