Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled Imaging Cath Lab Technologist is sought for a contract opportunity in Goldsboro, NC. This role involves supporting physicians in acquiring high-quality digital radiographic images of the heart, peripheral vessels, and other required structures using advanced radiographic equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in hemodynamics, diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral procedures, as well as expertise in operating specialized devices and maintaining strict radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Obtain and control radiographic images to assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral procedures. - Prepare the procedure room daily, conduct quality control checks, and manage supplies efficiently. - Demonstrate expert knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance. - Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, including sterile prep, injection of medications under supervision, and insertion of IV lines. - Document patient data accurately in multiple systems and verify charge entries and reports for precision. - Support quality initiatives by identifying and reporting variances and complications. - May assist with staff training and task assignments as a lead worker. Desired Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or similar role in a clinical setting. - Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment operation and cardiac catheterization procedures. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain high standards of patient care. - Familiarity with cardiac imaging systems such as IVUS, HeartLab, ICE, and Combo Map. - Commitment to radiation safety practices and infection control protocols.
