Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to join our innovative healthcare team. This role emphasizes leadership in patient care management in our rehabilitation and home-based care programs. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, manage clinical procedures, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and adhering to company protocols and healthcare regulations. Manage and supervise the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job outcomes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures for health care services. Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching and counseling patients and their families. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Leadership and personnel management Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of organization and attention to detail Proficiency in electronic health record systems Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
