Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is actively seeking a Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) who is committed to providing the highest quality of
care to our patients in various post-acute care settings. Our LPNs
play a critical role in managing the clinical needs of patients
while adhering to the highest standards of medical and
rehabilitation care. This position offers you a unique opportunity
to directly enhance the health and well-being of our patients and
to be an integral part of a team that helps patients recover and
manage their health in the long term. Administer nursing care to
ill, injured, or disabled patients within a post-acute care
environment Monitor patient health and document nursing care
activities Assist in the implementation of patient care plans along
with other medical professionals Ensure the health, comfort, and
safety of patients Accurately administer medications, wound care,
and other personalized interventions Educate patients and their
families on illness and injury prevention and post-discharge care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work
efficiently and independently under pressure Proficient in clinical
skills with an emphasis on patient care Detail-oriented with strong
documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of
employment CPR certified
