Job Description Family Medicine opening in New Bern, North
Carolina Coastal NC - 50 miles from Greenville Position Details:
Full-time, permanent position Employed Outpatient only. Call
schedule is phone call only, which is approximately once every 30
days. Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that
affect the general well-being of adult men and women. Duties will
include, but not limited to: performing examinations, ordering and
interpreting diagnostic and screening tests, prescribing and
ordering medication as appropriate for patients' medical
conditions, and referring patients for further care as clinically
appropriate. Salary and Benefits Package: $300,000 Salary with a
minimum 2-year salary guarantee and bonus potential. Full
complement of benefits; health and dental for the family, long term
and short disability, life insurance, 403(b) tax shelter annuity,
and 457(b) deferred compensation. Malpractice insurance
(retroactive & tail). 30 days of vacation. 10 days CME, $7,000 for
CME expenses and dues/subscriptions Flexible scheduling options for
work / life balance Minimum Requirements: Possession and
maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North
Carolina and certification from the DEA. Must be a member in good
standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital. Board Certified or
Board Eligible required. Health System Details: Made up of over 80
physicians and mid-level providers who provide care to patients
spanning four eastern North Carolina Counties. Specialties include:
Primary Care, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology,
Neurology, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Otolaryngology,
General Surgery, Oncology, and Urology.
