EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Greensboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,479 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, RCES Must-Have: - EKG pass/fail exam required - Experience in arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, and pacemaker insertion - Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies preferred - It is mandatory to have epic experience Description: The Electrophysiology Tech delivers direct patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab and associated areas. This role supports high-quality, safe, culturally competent, and cost-effective patient care across all operational areas. The responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, strategic planning, evaluation, medication administration, and timely intervention. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to provide advanced patient care during procedures. Maintaining strict asepsis, responding to emergencies, and ensuring patient safety and optimal procedural outcomes are essential. Preparation of specialty EP equipment is necessary for accurate and reliable diagnostic and interventional procedures. The tech will complete control room duties using knowledge of monitoring systems to assess patient conditions during procedures. Support functions may include digital archiving of studies and efficient data management for procedural workflows. Effective and safe care is provided in the circulating role during both elective and emergency procedures. Support is needed for continuous care in the Holding area, assisting in invasive lab functions for operational efficiency. Cultural competence and effective communication are critical when collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
