Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Danville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 5 years in Emergency Department License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have Skills/Experience: 5 years or more of experience in Emergency Department Preferred Skillset/Experience: Extensive Emergency Room experience Personality Fit: Professional, Positive, Compassionate, Team player Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. The unit features 31 beds and 2 triage rooms, with a mix of behavioral health and acute patients. Patient-to-nurse ratios can vary from 1:4 to 1:6. Exceptions may occur on high-volume days when immediate care is required. The facility utilizes electronic health records systems for documentation and patient management. The patient population served includes all ages. The role requires a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate patient care. Candidates should possess required certifications prior to start.
