Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Provides competent
clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the
Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering
patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities: Identify and meet personal learning needs;
attend relevant education programs. Use patient education materials
and assess readiness to learn. Set and achieve professional growth
goals, support unit objectives. Promote safety, cleanliness, and
cost-effective care. Plan care collaboratively, using
multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness. Stay informed
through journals and share ideas for practice improvement. Required
Skills & Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience. Required
Education: Nursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school
of Nursing. Preferred Education: BSN or MSN from an accredited
school of Nursing. Required Certifications & Licensure: Licensed to
practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA
