Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting /n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process /n• One year of nursing experience required /n• Local rate position at $75 /n• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers /n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans /n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects /n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs /n• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation /n• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare or update plans of care /n• Identify and address cultural and ethnic issues in planning patient care /n• Participate in education programs based on identified learning needs /n• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) /n• Required education: Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school of nursing /n• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare system operates as a comprehensive medical center providing a wide range of clinical services and patient care.
