Required Skills: Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Meditech 6.1 Ability to perform standard solo ER coverage during 12-hour shifts Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in high-volume emergency departments Certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience working in a hospital setting with open ICU facilities Familiarity with split coverage models involving mid-level providers Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina Up to 3 years of post-residency experience; board eligibility considered Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Willingness to cover a variety of open dates as scheduled starting from March 23, 2026 Travel expenses capped at $500 when applicable We invite talented Emergency Medicine Physicians eager to make a meaningful impact and advance their career to apply now.
