working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Title: Registered Nurse

experience accepted for first-time travelers with Epic experience -
Required skills include IV start and telemetry Description: RTO
after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any
call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancel and
DNR. MUST HAVE ORTHO WORK EXPERIENCE. CANNOT APPROVE ANY HOLIDAY
RTO. Ratios are expected to be 5-6:1, but can flex up to 7:1 only
in extreme cases. The unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks. 36
hours or 48 hours can be offered; if accepting 48 hours, no
overtime until after 48 hours. 7 days max RTO auto offer. Travelers
may be required to float to any other med-surg unit to meet
staffing needs based on census. Every other weekend is required; if
an RN calls out on a weekend, they will be required to make up that
time on a weekend. The average daily census is 37 with a total of
39 beds. Patient population includes orthopedic, neuro spine,
med-surg, and post-surgical patients. Patients are no longer
cohorted for Covid and are cared for in any unit unless they end up
in ICU. This is a fast-paced unit with orthopedic and spine
patients requiring nurses to manage pain effectively. Block
scheduling options are available for this position. Additional
skills preferred include charge nurse experience and level I trauma
experience. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start for
