Healthcare Job Details Location: Greenville, NC (27834) – Eastern North Carolina healthcare hub with excellent amenities and outdoor activities Setting: Inpatient, Level 1 Trauma Center Schedule: Nocturnist, 7p-7a, 7 shifts every other week (7 on, 7 off) Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Shifts per Week: 3 Total Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $3670 - $3930 Assignment Length: 14-week locum tenens contract Start Date: January 26, 2026 End Date: May 2, 2026 On-site Orientation: Required prior to first shift Nurse Practitioner Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license (North Carolina preferred) Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Minimum 1 year of experience in neurosurgery, critical care, or inpatient healthcare jobs Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary clinical team Commitment to attending orientation before starting Neurosurgery Nocturnist Responsibilities Deliver overnight inpatient coverage for neurosurgery patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center Perform patient admissions, discharges, and consultations Option to first assist in the operating room Collaborate with a team of 9 neurosurgeons and 9 advanced practice providers Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment Accurately document all patient interactions and clinical decisions Apply now to join our healthcare team in Greenville, NC and take the next step in your nurse practitioner career!
