be considered. Deliver specialized nursing care as an RN with a
focus on medical-surgical oncology in a dynamic healthcare
environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work
primarily within a cancer center supporting patients with
hematology/oncology, surgical oncology, and gynecologic oncology
needs. Patient care responsibilities include managing complex
symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and mucositis, administering
transfusions, monitoring lab values, and utilizing advanced IV and
central line procedures. Location: Kernersville, NC, is a vibrant

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology
patients with a patient-to-RN ratio of approximately 4-5 Perform
venipuncture, IV and central line insertion and care Deliver wound
and skin care management Administer blood transfusions and monitor
vital lab results Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, charge
nurses, and respiratory therapists for coordinated patient care
Utilize electronic medical records (Epic), IV pumps (Alaris), and
other medical technologies Float within the cancer center
primarily, with occasional assignments to med-surg units as needed
Follow scheduled rotations including every other weekend and
holiday coverage expectations Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Valid RN licensure with a minimum of 1 year oncology
nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential preferred Skilled in
infection prevention protocols Competent in managing complex
symptoms and transfusion protocols Additional Information: Shift
options: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights)
Schedule cycles rotate every six weeks Free parking available
onsite Royal blue scrubs designated for this unit Orientation
includes two days of departmental training This contract role is
