Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Neuro Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – North Carolina Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required Highlights: Primary neuroscience unit caring for stroke patients, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injuries, subdural hematomas, and other neuro diagnoses Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 55-bed unit with approximately 50 daily census 13-week contract with 36 hours of comprehensive unit orientation Epic EMR with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Opportunity to work with specialized patient populations including neurosurgical patients and epilepsy monitoring Floating required to other Medical/Surgical and Telemetry areas based on unit needs Requirements: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of direct Medical/Surgical experience required Previous travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers will not be accepted Active North Carolina or Compact RN license required at time of start Current certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS preferred Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and neuro assessment Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Flexibility to float to other units and availability to work every other weekend Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to develop expertise in neuroscience nursing while caring for a diverse and complex patient population.
