Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: Telemetry experience required Must-Have: Travel experience preferred EPIC experience preferred No exemptions for flu or Tdap vaccinations accepted Description: This position involves a schedule of 3x12's or 4x12's, with day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, working every other weekend and every other holiday. The candidate may be placed on-call for one 12-hour shift per pay period if census drops. The report-in time within one hour of being called back is expected. The traveler is required to float to similar acuities or lower when needed. Block scheduling can be accommodated, provided it includes the required weekend coverage. Travelers may be floated multiple times per week based on the needs of the units. The unit handles a mix of medical/surgical patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 5 or 6, with an occasional increase to 1 to 7. Experience with COVID patients is expected. All units may have the potential to care for COVID patients.
