*Location: UNC Rex - Raleigh, NC - 6W Orthopedics**Shift-Hours/Weekends/Holidays/on-call Requirements:** Night shift - 7:00pm - 7:00am* Must work two Saturdays and two Sundays within a 6-week period.* Must work 3/6 holidays for the winter season.* There is no on-call requirement currently.*Responsibilities:** Provide the best in care for patients recovering from various orthopedic procedures including total knee/shoulder/hip replacement, total joint revision, and hip/ankle fractures.* Specialize in the care of surgical and injury related orthopedic patients.*Job Requirements:** NC RN License* BLS Certification* Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred*About the Unit:** Number of beds: 30* Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5-6* Patient Population: Primarily total joint replacement patients- knees, hip, shoulders.
