...and much more. What You'll Do The purpose of the Regional
Dialysis Quality Assurance Registered Nurse is to ensure all of
your assigned clients are raving fans of CDI Health. You will
accomplish this by serving as an extension of our client's clinical
management team and offering your expertise in quality and clinical
operations in the world of acute dialysis. You will be the face of
CDI Health on-site at our contracted acute dialysis facilities and
dedicate your work to supporting sustainable dialysis programs for
our clients. This position will not be responsible for staffing or
direct dialysis team management. Overview of Expectation: Currently
this position will support one client, UNC Nash, who joined CDI
Health's Collaborative Care Program on 8/1/2022. This role will be
supporting another client in the final phases of contracting and
potentially 2-3 other clients in the same geographic area based on
growth in the future. Responsibilities:
Communicate and coordinate with all pertinent client and CDI staff
to support ongoing operations.
Maintain a constant client engagement rhythm both on-site at
different facilities and virtually.
Cultivate and maintain deep client relationships at all levels.
Lead all required client coordination meetings.
Conduct weekly/monthly (abbreviated) and quarterly (comprehensive)
quality audits to ensure compliance with Client and CDI Health
Policies and Procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
(CMS, TJC, etc.)
Support overall Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement
(QAPI) Program, to include:
Assist with the overall development and implementation of the QAPI
plan in conjunction with quality team.
Implements quality goals and action plans to achieve quality
Prepare and compile Monthly CDI Quality Reports to required client
Monitor to ensure each client site exceeds expectations and
outcomes outlined by CharDonnay and CDI Health policy and procedure
along with CMS guidelines, state regulations and contractual
Actively participates in CDI Health & Client QAPI meetings.
Make recommendations for revisions to QAPI activities or need for
Create corrective action plans for any issues related to service
delivery and coordinate with required personnel to execute
Responsible for reviewing any policy and procedure changes, updates
and/or additions with dialysis unit managers.
Oversee the supply and inventory process at all client facilities
in coordination with the CDI Health Purchasing Team. This will
include performing or delegating supply ordering, inventory,
stocking and delivery to external facilities.
Coordinate with regional Biomedical Operations management to ensure
required coverage and response to machine issues.
Support the onboarding of new facilities, programs, and clients
onto contracted services in coordination with the CDI Health
Implementation Team. Experience Required 5+ years of experience in
Acute Dialysis as a Registered Nurse with the following modalities:
Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis
2+ years of experience in Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse
Experience with QAPI, data compilation, and reporting required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as
proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Current knowledge of dialysis compliance and regulation
Experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and
maintaining policies, procedures, and training in a healthcare
environment. Experience Preferred 8+ years of experience in Acute
Dialysis with the following modalities: Hemodialysis, Peritoneal
Dialysis, Apheresis (TPE), and CRRT.
5+ years of experience in Acute Dialysis leadership
Pediatric dialysis modalities.
Background in implementing and stand up of acute dialysis unit.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited nursing
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
