Management will include use of advanced clinical knowledge and skills for direct clinical care of the infant? collaborative care with the entire healthcare team for the medical management of the infant and family unit, and coordination of follow up services for the newborns in the intensive, intermediate and newborn nurseries. The NNP functions as an educator and preceptor for Neonatal staff members and students from various health care programs.
