About The Role

IronNet is seeking a world-class Director of Growth Marketing and Demand Generation to join the marketing leadership team. This role will be essential in the design and execution of our acquisition and demand generation strategy. This leader will set the direction, plot the course, and be responsible for building and delivering on quarterly/annual awareness and pipeline-building objectives. Success looks like multi-channel campaigns in target segments that drive growth in pipeline, bookings, and ultimately revenue. You will also build-out the team.

Our ideal candidate is a high-drive collaborator with excellent communication skills. He/she knows inbound/field marketing cold, has strong digital/social skills, and is equally comfortable doing, managing, and persuading. This candidate will possess a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and solid project management skills. He/she will be data-driven and will own the marketing funnel from attracting to converting to nurturing for Sales. Our candidate will be fluent in the buyer's journey and will understand how to team with Sales to drive awareness, consideration, and decisions. Finally, this leader will embrace a growth challenge.

About The Job

  • Build and lead the Demand Marketing team: inbound/field marketing senior specialist and digital/social marketing senior specialist, growing quickly over time to cover industry sector and geographic expansion
  • Partner with Sales across customer segments, industry sectors, and geographies to create growth strategies to achieve customer growth and revenue goals
  • Define scalable and multi-channel demand generation campaigns that cover a variety of customer segments, offerings, and digital channels
  • Grow new leads, including MQLs, by converting site traffic and event traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (offers).
  • Deliver compelling, specific messaging for each stage of the buyer journey, creating an engaging customer experience with bottom-line results
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels working with team members
  • Design, build and execute Account-Based Marketing campaigns to drive expansion
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Collaborate with the Content, PR, Brand, and Product Marketing


    • Highly driven, innovative, problem solver and with strong organizational skills; ready to excel in a fast-paced and flexible environment
    • Proven experience in managing demand generation campaigns that drive customer engagement and advocacy, demonstrating significant and measurable results
    • Track record as a highly successful, hands-on marketer in SaaS environments and a champion of best practices
    • Creative mindset and can translate ideas to compelling campaigns that can be executed with operational rigor
    • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
    • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, always-on environment
    • Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships across the organization
    • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools, channels, and platforms
    • Relevant four-year BA/BS degree in marketing or technology
    • 7+ years experience in growth and/or demand marketing, with experience in marketing technical B2B enterprise products; SaaS experience preferred
