About The Role

IronNet is seeking a world-class Marketing Operations & Technology Senior Manager to join the marketing leadership team. This role will be essential in the design, build, and operation of our marketing system, including business processes, marketing technology selection and management, data management, analytics, and marketing performance management. Top initial priorities will include the demand generation, lead nurturing, and sales development activities.

Our ideal candidate is an expert in driving solid operations programs, detail-oriented, passionate about leveraging technology to scale, and has the business acumen to translate data-driven decisions into actionable enhancements to fuel our sales growth. He or she will clearly understand the lead acquisition, prospect development and sales processes. He or she will also be able to create and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices with an emphasis on data and analytics to drive optimal outcomes. Our candidate must be a high-drive collaborator with excellent communication skills.

About The Job

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best marketing practices in areas like campaign execution and lead management.
  • Own the management and implementation of the marketing stack -- which may include: MAS, relevant components of Salesforce, front-end data augmentation tools, predictive analytics, and any third-party technologies influencing the marketing and sales process.
  • Monitor/manage data integrity and develops the methodology and protocols to maintain the integrity of the marketing and sales databases.
  • Optimize our global marketing automation strategy by applying best practices to our MAS instance. To include the lead-to-sales funnel automation processes, policies, scoring methodology, workflows, service-level agreements with Sales, marketing programs and workflows.
  • Define and execute improvements to enhance productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Develop the tracking methodology and taxonomy to support reporting and measurement objectives. This would include accurately tracking source, media, channel, content, attribution, stage and status at the individual and aggregate level.
  • Become IronNet's marketing funnel expert and improve targeting by continuously improving the database quality using tactics such as data enrichment
  • Identify trends, best practices and technologies to drive lead acquisition, improve conversions, optimize email marketing and support the growth of the business.


    • Experience with leading Marketing platforms/hubs (HubSpot preference), Google Analytics, and Salesforce, with a deep understanding of how to optimize the infrastructure, workflows, and reporting.
    • HubSpot certification provides distinct advantage
    • Expert understanding of the lead-to-sales funnel and demand generation with experience building automation and workflows and integrating marketing and CRM systems
    • Experience in developing front-end marketing funnel reporting
    • Experience working with data and analytics including: identifying and correcting data quality issues, working with developers and architects to define data needs, performing detailed analysis in Excel or similar tools.
    • Basic coding skills provides distinct advantage
    • Knowledge of industry email marketing best practices and regulations (e.g., GDPR, California Data Privacy Act, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
    • Excellent communicator, highly organized and has ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience
    • Highly driven, innovative, problem solver and team player ready to excel in a fast-paced and flexible environment
    • Relevant four-year BA/BS degree in marketing or technology
    • 5+ years experience in marketing operations, with experience in marketing technical B2B enterprise products; SaaS experience preferred
