Technology & Manufacturing Industry. They have a large portfolio of
projects reaching close to $4bn annually. This is an exciting
opportunity to be part of a PMO team on a large client account that
is changing the landscape of how we approach portfolio, program and

For our people to excel You’ll be responsible for: Directs the
coordination and delivery of the program and oversees the
implementation of project strategies, providing direction and
monitoring delivery in alignment with the overall vision and
objectives. Implements appropriate program delivery environment
including People, Organization, Process, Information and
Technology. Defines the relationship ownership and is the primary
contact for Mace BUD engagement. Directs and maintains exceptional
safety, quality, cost, program, sustainability, governance, risk,
stakeholder management and program compliance standards. Focus on
delivering program benefits and outcomes. Maintains program
documentation, including process and procedures, plans repots,
registers and lessons learned. Creates a high-performing and
inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and
recognition. Engenders, promotes and influences quality and Service
Excellence in all conversations and program interactions. Ensures
the program is operating an effective risk management strategy with
appropriate management actions and risk treatments established.
Networks and utilizes the full depth and knowledge of the Mace
Group and Centers of Excellence to support the program delivery,
actively promoting knowledge share with others. Providing Program
Level Leadership as an extension of the client’s Senior Leadership
team to ensure the overall successful completion of the program/s
as may be assigned. Establishing key relationships with the client
and other key stakeholders. Leading the specialist design team,
construction supervision and cost consultants throughout the
project. Implementing an appropriate and effective project
management framework. Effectively manage the performance of the
program team to execute assigned capital programs and projects,
taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large
complex programs and projects. Acting as the key client and
consultant interface at all project stages ensuring that client and
quality objectives are met, and projects are delivered within
safety, quality, time and cost targets. Directing project planning
and production of the detailed project plan. Leading and managing
the cross-functional project team. Providing strategic advice from
project conception stage to achieve overall objectives, development
of success criteria for the project, including time, cost,
technical and performance parameters until completion and handover.
Anticipating and implementing strategies to address quality,
safety, health and environment issues.
Establishing/implementing/managing the effective project
governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout a
project. Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
using KPI’s to improve project performance. Monitoring and advising
upon project finances and procurement of resources. Managing the
reporting and the flow of program/project information between the
team and the client. Planning, managing and executing the lab
equipment relocation project, ensuring a lean and seamless
transition from site to site with no impact to critical pipeline
projects. You’ll need to have: Relevant degree in Construction or
Engineering field (MS or MBA preferred). Have obtained Project
Management Institute (PMI) certification or Program Management
certification. Demonstrated capital program leadership experience.
Has effectively managed integrated team(s) on large complex and
multi-phase projects on the Life Science / Manufacturing &
Technology capital programs. Technical understanding of program
management, practices, controls, governance and procedures. Strong
problem solving and analytical skills across cost, schedule,
procurement, contract administration, reporting and project life
cycle. Effective communicator with both strong written and verbal
communication skills. Experience working with variety of project
