leads the Firm's development and implementation of marketing and
business development strategy. This includes, along with sector
leadership, definition of goals, objectives, strategic client
initiatives, and relevant KPIs. This individual will be responsible
for identifying new business opportunities, managing/tracking a
pipeline of leads for partners, developing marketing and business
development materials, developing strategy and tracking for
strategic clients, leading the strategy behind industry events and
sponsorships, and collaborating with internal attorney, business
development, and marketing teams to drive business growth and

internal as well as external communication of firm's
activitiesDevelop and implement marketing and business development
strategies for the firm's practice, including earned media and
content calendar strategy, advertising, events, and
sponsorshipsCollaborate with attorney teams to identify new
business opportunities and create tailored pitch materials for key
clients and prospectsStay up-to-date with industry trends, market
developments, and competitive activity, and use this knowledge to
inform the firm's energy industry strategies and aligned
activities, especially differentiating brand tactics like original
market research and content creationEstablish and maintain strong
relationships with clients in the energy industry, as appropriate.
This will involve meeting with clients to understand their needs
(client satisfaction program), providing them with information
about the firm's services, and addressing any concerns they may
haveWork closely with the attorneys in the energy sector to prepare
proposals and pitches for new business opportunities. This will
involve coordinating the proposal process, ensuring that proposals
are tailored to the client's needs, and working with attorneys and
firm leadership to develop competitive strategiesIdeate and
coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as
brochures, website content, presentations, and white papers,
ensuring that they are targeted, impactful, and compliant with the
firm's branding and messaging guidelinesManage the firm's online
Energy presence, including website pages, social media strategy,
and paid media campaigns, ensuring that they are up-to-date,
relevant, and effectiveOversee the planning, budgeting and
execution of both global and domestic energy events and
sponsorships, such as conferences, webinars, and speaking
engagements, ensuring that they are well-attended, successful, and
aligned with the firm's industry strategic goalsEvaluate return on
investment of proposed marketing and business development expenses
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing and business
development efforts, using metrics such as expenses, leads volume,
proposals (wins/losses), website traffic, social media engagement,
and lead scoring, and use this data to refine and improve future
growth effortsRequirementsBachelor's degree in marketing, business
administration, or a related field required; Master's in Business
Administration is preferredAt least 5-7 years of experience in
marketing and/or business development in the professional services
industry, with a focus on the Oil & Gas industryExperience in a
professional services environment, such as a law firm, investment
banking firm, accounting firm, consulting firm, or experience with
an in-house legal team of an energy company is preferred Ability to
manage expectations of multiple stakeholders in a matrix
environmentStrong project management skills, with the ability to
manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent
written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated
ability to create original content and compelling marketing
materials, web content, and thought leadershipAbility to
communicate effectively with internal and external
stakeholdersStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze
data and draw meaningful, actionable insights that can be applied
to the overall sector strategyDemonstrate experience in developing
and executing successful marketing and business development
