Job Description:

ICF International seeks a Project Manager to work on a national technical assistance project. The goal of the project is to support and enable legal representation to eligible arriving Afghans across the country and to expand the legal community's skills and capacity to provide immigration legal support. The Project Manager will use his/her expertise to implement an effective strategy and provide oversight of fiscal and data reporting procedures and product development processes. Full-time hours are gauranteed through September only.
The successful candidate has broad knowledge of project management. The Project Manager will work closely with and under the oversight of the Operations Director to execute essential strategies related to program operations. The successful candidate will have an ability to partner with the client and project management team leads in the development and implementation of procedures and processes related to fiscal management, data analysis, and reporting. He/she works with teams to facilitate delivery of timely and high-quality work products.
Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and monitor project tasks and progress on deliverables, providing data and reports to the project leadership team and to the client.


  • Collaborate directly with management team to ensure accuracy in tracking status of project deliverables and maintain project work plan.


  • Develop and implement project management and data cleaning processes and procedures.


  • Manage the work of the technology development, implementation, and maintenance team to ensure that all technology products efficiently support project operations.


  • Contribute to regular project reporting, both internal and client required.


  • Support activities related to the project's evaluation, including data collection and continuous quality improvement efforts.


    Basic Qualifications:


    • A minimum of 5 years professional project management experience, including managing projects, tasks, deliverables, staff supervision, and budget oversight


    • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs, for capacity building projects.


    • Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 security clearance


    • Must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territories for 3 of the last 5 years (for non-US Citizens)


      Preferred Skills:


      • Project Management Professional or similar certification


      • Working knowledge of the refugee, immigrant, and asylee challenges


      • Experience working for a refugee program


      • Proficient in use of Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar applications


      • Master's degree in social work, public administration, or other advanced degree in a related field

        • Solid team builder and team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs.


        • Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management.


        • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.


        • Ability to multi-task and maintain high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.


        • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.


        • Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy.


        • Proficient with MS office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).


        • Ability to gather, organize, and synthesize information for application in technical assistance delivery


        • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team

          Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is :
          $90,940.00 - $154,598.00
