Senior Manager, Claims Services Support

Job Description:

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Claims Services Support that can be located in one of the following offices:

  • Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Naperville, Illinois
  • Omaha, Nebraska

    This role will be responsible for managing the Claims Services Support Supervisors while creating consistency throughout the organization and within the claims support functions.

    Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engages with claim senior management and other leaders to collect feedback on claims processes to improve quality, compliance, and customer experience
    • Builds a collaborative and consultative approach to delivering project services and process improvement
    • Listens and incorporates various perspectives
    • Facilitates issue or dispute resolution in project or design activities
    • Conducts data analysis including volume, cost/benefit, claim performance, and projections resulting from proposed program implementations
    • Exercises influence across project teams with varying levels of seniority to accomplish objectives while fostering an environment of data driven decision-making
    • Perform other duties as needed

      Qualifications:

      Must have:

      • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
      • Equivalent is defined as 12 years of relevant experience.
      • Management experience
      • Strong leadership and management skills demonstrating integrity and professionalism
      • Experience with claims support processes and procedures
      • Ability to help others excel through collaboration and relationship building
      • Demonstratable process improvement experience
      • Contact center or Insurance experience
      • Alternative work distribution model experience
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
      • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
      • Superior attention to detail and customer service skills.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
      • To qualify, all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.

        Preferred to have:

        • Online Learning Management
        • Bilingual (Spanish & English) language skills
        • Experience with onBase and/or Duck Creek
        • Business Machine automation experience
