he Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects offinancial operations and employee relations. This position reports directly to thecompany President.The Accounting Manager---s responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation ofall financial operations of the company. These duties will include cash management,accounts payable, accounts receivable and all other fiscally related duties. TheAccounting Manager---s responsibilities will also include handling employee relations,employee benefits, payroll and may perform other administrative duties as required.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting daily operations (accounts payable, accountsreceivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, credit cardexpense reconciliation, fuel account reconciliation, cash applications andpayroll).Monitor and analyze accounting dataMaintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements andobligationsMonthly, quarterly, and annual preliminary financial statementsPrepare State Sales & Use Tax ReturnManage accounting staff by leading, directing and supervisingRecruit and hire new accounting employeesTrain new employeesWork with outsourced IT companyProcess payroll using a payroll service companyMonitor company---s 401K PlanWork with outside insurance brokersCoordinate with insurance companies for any on-the-job accidents, reportand keep proper records for such an eventWork with county/state auditorsProcess annual 1099 ReportingFile annual Business Personal Property returnsMonitor and pay annual property taxesQualifications:Working knowledge of Accounting and Payroll software --- Yardi experiencepreferred but not requiredPrior property management experience is preferredWork accurately with close attention to detailAbility to multi-taskUnderstanding and knowledge of accounting principles and practicesCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsExcellent computer skillsAbility to manage and direct employeesTeam playerMinimum education, training and experience5 years of experience as an Accounting ManagerBS degree in accounting AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
