We are looking for a talented Program Manager who is also an
engineer. In this role, youll work across the Azure team to help
deliver next-generation silicon and systems, designed to customer
needs, and supporting Azures growth.Microsoft's hardware teams
incubate advanced technologies and build deep partnerships with
internal research, product planning, business and marketing teams.
Microsoft ships tens of millions of hardware products every year,
including the Xbox, Surface devices, HoloLens, accessories, and

modeling, and program management supporting the development of

us in designing for the future!ResponsibilitiesIn this role, youll
work across the Azure team to help deliver next-generation silicon
and systems, designed to customer needs and supporting Azures
growth. Our next-generation silicon and systems programs depend on
execution and delivery from across Azure and broader Microsoft.
Youll help develop the product and drive the team to deliver on
quality and schedule.What youll do:
- Learn our hardware product and datacenter roadmaps through
direct engagements across Azure and broader Microsoft.
- Engage with engineering teams to help prioritize and optimize
resourcing, develop schedules, and drive deliverables to support
broader program objectives.
- Drive and facilitate the execution of the programs from concept
to tape out, power-on to launch, and connecting all the
dependencies and moving parts together.
- Develop processes and procedures to guide daily operations and
execution of our programs, driving clarity and efficiency.
- Prioritize outcomesnot ownershipto ensure the integrated team
achieves more with higher efficiency.
- Communicate with precision and clarity to drive alignment in
both small and broad teams.
- Effectively collaborate, build relationships, and influence
team members to achieve program objectives.
- Report out to executive leadership on a periodic basis.
- Help Build, lead, and grow diverse and inclusive teams and
provide both technical and non-technical leadership to them.

Managers.QualificationsRequired Qualification:
- 8+ years of Program Management, Product Management, and/or
Project Management experience.
- Experience working through a complete product cycle (from
architecture/initial design through post-release sustainment).
- Experience with complex silicon development, hardware
development, embedded systems or other hardware/software boundary
experience.
- Experience with cross-organizational / cross-group development
spanning multiple organizational structures.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and change.
- Excellent design and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communications skills.Preferred Qualification:
- Solid background and understanding of Computer Architecture,
CPU/SoC design, verification, validation and product engineering
principles as part of CPU, SoC and/or IP development teams.
- Prior experience managing a small team.Ability to meet
Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening
requirements are required for this role. These requirements
include, but are not limited to the following specialized security
screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be
required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon
hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Hardware Engineering
IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is
USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range
applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay
area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range
for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per
year.Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work
locations within the United States, which allows us to pay
employees competitively and consistently in different geographic
markets (see below). The range above reflects the potential base
pay across the U.S. for this role (except as noted below); the
applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is
determined to be the candidates primary work location. Individual
base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work
location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job
duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay
ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are
made within the base pay range applicable at the time.At Microsoft
certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit
increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based
on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the
opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or
utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employees
