Lifepointe Church began in the spring of 2004, after a team of
churches came together to fund a new church in the growing city of
Raleigh, NC. In 2008, Lifepointe became a multisite church as they
launched a second campus. Lifepointe began the transition from
meeting in movie theaters & schools to meeting in their own
buildings in 2011. They have a campus in North Raleigh and another
about 40 minutes away in Cary, NC.
Raleigh is currently exploding with growth, so the church sees new
families every week. The North Raleigh campus is currently maxing
out their facilities on Sunday morning with roughly 1,000 people
per weekend, and are planning to launch an additional service in
the Fall of 2022 to accommodate their ongoing growth.
In the midst of the challenges of 2020, Lifepointe went through a
process of clarifying their ministry philosophy and theological
alignment. They transitioned to expository teaching in 2020 and
have witnessed a renewed hunger for daily engagement in God's word.
They also clarified their stances on some key social and
theological issues, and brought the staff to a place of alignment
and unity through that process.
Currently, the kids ministry is doing great things with three
part-time personnel who are caring for a healthy and motivated team
of volunteers, as well as programming a highly engaging Sunday
morning experience for kids. They are looking for someone to take
on the leadership of this high capacity team, to breathe fresh
vision into this ministry, and to come alongside parents in new and
Our Mission and Vision
Lifepointe Church exists to help people connect with God. The local

local church. It is our responsibility to help those new to our
community and help the 800,000 who are not connected to a church
home experience all that Christ has for them. Our culture of
radical generosity, contagious excitement, selfless service and
laser focused leadership development will move and release people
to live the mission of Helping People Connect with God across the
