Job Description:
We are looking for a high-performing Director of Strategic
Accounts to join our team. The successful candidate will meet our
customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Director of
Sales responsibilities include developing key growth sales
strategies, tactics and action plans. The Director of Strategic
Accounts will sell into and manage large enterprise clients,
including some of the largest names in Sports & Entertainment.
Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve
your financial targets. Duties will include hitting annual targets,
building relationships and understanding customer
trends.Responsibilities
- Works closely with VP of Sales to achieve financial goals
- Successfully uncovers buyers needs and strategic selling points
for large enterprise clients
- Leads solution development efforts that best address customer
needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company
personnel
- Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning
process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial
targets, and critical milestones
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company
standards
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key
personnel in assigned customer accounts and business verticals
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned markets
and key accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and
expand our position with assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer
relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and
objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals
and presentations
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
- Creating quotes, performing web and in-person demonstrations
and logging activities into Salesforce.com
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and
strategic objectives in assigned accounts and/or territories
- Creating new and maintaining established relationships within
your assigned market
- Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective
customers
- Analyzing opportunities by researching the industry and market
trends
- Maintaining relationships with larger clients by providing
information, support and guidance
- Preparing reports by collecting sales information and
statistics
- Working with senior management to establish sales goals and
increase market share & revenue
- Collaborate with senior management and assigned team members to
build out a sales team specifically targeting your assigned
market
- Working with our marketing team to construct marketing material
and presentationRequirements
- 5+ years proven sales executive experience, meeting or
exceeding targets
- Previous experience as sales executive or manager
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the
organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to
close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products
and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing
client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience using Salesforce or sales CRM
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel up to 50%
