The Manager of Software Professional Services, builds, manages and mentors a robust team to deliver software services to our customers to better equip them to use our SaaS offerings. The successful candidate will be able to understand our platform and application offerings and lead projects to assist our customers to make full use of our offerings through customized software, network design and devops services. The Manager of Software Professional Services will manage small teams of engineers along with improving our process and workflows throughout.


  • Working knowledge of application and services development using React, Python and Java
  • Working knowledge of Node APIs
  • Own your teams outcomes for building and improving systems integration offerings and SaaS onboarding checklists
  • Working knowledge of database optimization and ETL tools
  • Actively participate in scoping, estimating, code reviews throughout the development process
  • Communicate across teams about your progress and offer suggestions/improvements to continually improve all aspects of the software lifecycle
  • Have a constructive voice. It will be expected and respected
  • Manage the teams engineers by providing support, goals, expectations, mentorship and feedback
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings with direct reports to understand their daily work accountability and success
  • Conduct quarterly performance feedback sessions to discuss goal progress and development
  • Collaborate with and support direct reports to create development plans for professional growth
  • Manage hiring for your team including reviewing candidates for selection as well as participating and provide feedback in interviewing process
  • In the first 3 months work to define the SOW templates and SaaS onboarding checklists, as well as create a catalog for our software professional services
  • Within 6 months refine our fee structures
  • Within 12 months work on team expansion as new customers are onboarded as well as templates / docs for use by Solutions Architects

    • Experience delivering software systems integrations using a combination of React, NodeJS, Python and Java
    • Experience with Postgres, MySQL and Oracle relational databases
    • Experience with unit and integration testing
    • Experience with pull requests and code reviews. We lean on each other to make sure we are writing the best software possible
    • Self-motivated individual who can work independently/remotely
    • Experience working in a start-up and understanding the needs that come with that
    • Willingness/desire to experiment with new technologies
    • Good sense of humor, we enjoy working with each other
    • Must be able to get things done in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
