The OM will provide leadership and guidance in a variety of areas such as patient relations, employee relations and working closely with the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to ensure they achieve their operational goals. The OM is responsible for practices profit & loss by partnering with office staff and lead dentist to manage patient schedule utilization, staff productivity, collections, receivables, and controlling operations expenses. The OM will report to the ROM.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the office profit and loss through maintaining and managing a full schedule and overseeing office expenditures
  • Work with the lead doctor to ensure clinical protocols are being followed
  • Directly supervise employees, process time and attendance for payroll department, interview, hire, and train new team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and continually provide feedback and development opportunity to employees
  • Oversee accounts receivables, proper insurance billing, scheduling, and collections
  • Complete end of the day financial tasks and reporting
  • Ensure the office is compliant in following company protocols and with state regulatory agencies
  • Assist team members through coaching and job shadowing in areas of patient service, treatment plan presentation, insurance benefit explanations, handling complaints and all other training as needed
  • Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient and employee expectations
  • Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
    • Minimum of three (3) years management experience. Healthcare or Dental industries preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of CDT codes preferred but not required
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong skills in fostering working relationships
    • Excellent customer service and leadership skills
