Overview This position will be responsible for helping to establish and grow our 3rd party security based lending initiative. This will include establishing and documenting policies and procedures, integrating and enhancing technology solutions, streamlining processes to enhance the client experience, hiring and managing a team of security based lending specialists, and representing the Bank with advisor firms and advisors to help drive growth in our security based lending business. This position will require an entrepreneurial approach, with an ability to engage in operations, technology, sales and leadership. Responsibilities * Project Management - Manages the planning, implementation, and continued growth of the Bank's securities-based lending initiative. Builds a strong project team of associates with experience in securities-based lending. Establishes policies, procedures, and processes to be followed within the initiative. Selects the technology used and resolves issues as they arise.* Lending Operations - Engages with software solutions providers, internal technology teams, and credit organizations to facilitate operational efficiencies. Assists in implementing software enhancements and process improvements. Ensures appropriate underwriting criteria is utilized in order to mitigate credit and operational risk.* Business Strategy - Drives the promotion and growth of the Bank's securities-based lending business through strategic relationships and industry involvement. Represents the Bank with advisor firms and within the ACE platform to develop an external awareness of the Bank's capabilities.* Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve project goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years of Private Banking, Financial Services, or Financial Operations experience to include 6 years in a supervisory role. Or High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 12 years of Private Banking, Financial Services, or Financial Operations experience to include 6 years in a supervisory role.
