Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a banking institution that is hiring a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to protect their enterprise computing platforms by managing security threats, configuring security tools, and assessing vulnerabilities. We're looking for someone local to the Raleigh area that can work 20% in-office and 80% remotely with 2 - 5 years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage and benefits.








Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for monitoring, identifying, and remediating security threats.
You'll administer and configure various cybersecurity devices and applications like web application firewalls, mobile device management, email security, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and application security tools.
In this position, you will be the point of contact for escalations, incident investigations and for providing timely responses.
Provide documentation to support the operation and configuration of security tools while developing administration procedures for new security systems.

Requirements:

Experience operating and configuring security technologies.
Experience in the investigation and response to security incidents.
Proficient in the tools and processes used to discover common vulnerabilities.
Knowledgeable in the technological aspects of a depository institution.
Certifications in security/ cybersecurity are a plus.
