About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Network Engineer responsible for
complex projects in the retail, admin, and campus areas of the
Wells Fargo Network. You will be responsible for change review,
automation, development, and technical guidance. You will align
with the Line of Business (LOB), Product Relationship Manager, and
Service Delivery Team to ensure the technical needs of the business
are met and provide updates on projects. You will assist management
with risk items and identify trouble spots in the network. You will
be responsible for on-call escalation and outage support as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME) and leverage your advanced network
experience for mentoring and management support.
In this role, you will:
Lead the review, resolution and implementation for the most complex
technical issues and initiatives related to large scale network
applications, data systems, voice and other technical products and
services
Use and create diagnostic, simulation, and other tools to maintain,
troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
Evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard
procedures, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems
supported
Research performance trends and recommend process improvements
Perform complex migrations from development to production,
upgrades, installations, and configurations
Make decisions in security and regulatory policies to design and
implement foolproof secured network solutions
Assess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality,
security and compliance requirements are met for supported
areas
Identify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes
to assure Service Level Agreements can be supported
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to
resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:

SD WAN/SD Branch experience in an enterprise network
Solid understanding of VoIP
Solid understanding and experience with Network tools including
NetFlow, Packet Capture, Device Configuration Management, Capacity
Planning, SPAN/RSPAN
Experience with Ansible automation tool
In depth knowledge of routing protocol like Open Shortest Path
First (OSPF) and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Excellent understanding of Excel
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Cisco Certified Internetwork (CCIE) Certification
Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise
environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all
organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and
adaptability are important
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
Advanced scripting experience with Python and JavaScript
Experience and understanding of:
IP Multicast
Wireless
Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6)
Group Encrypted Transport VPN (GetVPN)
4G/5G
Spanning Tree
