Committee for Children is seeking a proven Integration Engineer to
expertly collaborate with clients, the client-facing staff, and the
product development team. Supporting school districts across the
entire United States, this expert advisor will identify
technological requirements, determine the needs of the client, and
partner with internal teams to facilitate solutions. Reporting to
the Education Partnerships Director, the ideal candidate will have
exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be a
motivated self-starter.
Major Responsibilities
Improve sales effectiveness of the Education Partnership team by
addressing the technology needs of Committee for Children K-12
district customers and prospects
Coordinate with the Education Partnership team to provide
pre/post-sales support expertise through presentations, demos,
implementations, and on-going consultation
Work with district technology leaders to identify and address
SSO/Clever rostering integrations, product use and data privacy,
security, and compatibility requirements
Act as the customer advocate for technical issues that impact
multiple sites or users at a district that require assistance and
follow-up until the issue is resolved
Partner with product development, engineers, client success &
support, and other internal stakeholders to align with the systems,
data, & technology needs of customers
Maintain expertise regarding the EdTech market, competitive
programs, and industry directions/trends to establish credibility
as an expert advisor with education leaders
Create best practices for this new role and the Education
Partnership team for district presentations and other resources to
meet on-going needs of current districts
Navigate complex technical requirements and language with the
proposal team, product, and legal to ensure proposals, RFI/RFP
responses, and agreements are accurate
Develop materials and deliver internal trainings to increase the
technical knowledge and client consultation abilities of the
client-facing staff
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical background in a sales/systems/solutions
engineering role with the ability to understand evolving business
challenges and develop custom solutions to address them
Experience presenting SaaS EdTech solutions to K-12 districts or
Higher Education
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and make
recommendations
Excellent communication skills including presenting complex data
clearly
Proven track record with project management in a dynamic sales
environment
Successful experience building customer relationships
Capability to work and collaborate remotely
