Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing
in school-based services to support PreK-8th grade students in a
K-12 educational setting located in Laurinburg, NC. This contract
position runs from January 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026, with a
full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the school
calendar year. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy
services to students from PreK through 8th grade, focusing on
enhancing their functional abilities and academic performance.
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to
develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to adjust
therapeutic interventions as needed. Maintain detailed
documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations.
Advocate for student needs to support their inclusion and
participation in school activities. Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based
settings, home health, or healthcare environments. Strong knowledge
of developmental milestones and educational requirements for PreK-8
students. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with diverse student
populations and familiarity with individualized education programs.
