Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time physical therapy position is available within a K-12 public school district in the Research Triangle area, NC. This contract role spans the current school year with an anticipated start date as soon as possible through June 10, 2026. The position requires onsite presence across approximately 5 to 9 schools, servicing a caseload of 30-40 students ranging from elementary through high school levels. Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services aligned with school schedules: elementary schools operate from 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, middle schools from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM, and high schools from 9:15 AM to 4:15 PM. Therapists will visit each assigned school regularly, with some requiring only 1-2 visits per month, depending on student needs. This role demands adaptability as caseloads and district requirements may evolve throughout the contract period. Qualified candidates must hold an active Physical Therapist license and have prior experience working in school-based settings. A caseload demonstrating service delivery across multiple grade levels is expected to meet district standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to coordinate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff.
