As a Marketing Measurement and Analytics Analyst at Advance Auto
Parts, you will have an opportunity to disrupt a $150B auto parts
industry to bring better and faster solutions to customers. Advance
Auto Parts speaks to existing and prospective customers through a
variety of digital and traditional marketing channels - you will be
part of shaping this conversation with the customer by analyzing
media efficiency, customer segments, testing of customer
experiences, and much more. AAP is also a robust player in the
e-Commerce space, and you will help shape future e-Commerce
strategy by providing deep analytics into customer behavior online,
effective web conversion strategies, etc.

Essential Duties and -Responsibilities -include the following. -

Work with state of the art media measurement tools to guide
impactful business insights, and - shaping media investments. This
role will partner with internal and external teams to understand
measurement capabilities and shape them to meet the most impactful
Understand the key drivers of business across e-Commerce and retail
and generate hypotheses on how to grow KPIs. Take these hypotheses
and build a business case that includes execution, a testing
framework, and follow through to measurement of success
Partner with data scientists and personally drive key business
insights by deploying regression, segmentation, and/or machine
learning models on complex data sets. Identify data sets that are
likely to yield business value by applying these techniques and see
model creation through to actual business value generation.
Develop a deep understanding of AAP web analytics via Google
Analytics, first party data, and data from other platforms and
partners to drive key business insights about the e-Commerce
customer and ultimately drive e-Commerce Growth
Analyze customer, transaction, and -operations -data to -find
-trends and patterns, -create -actionable insights, -then help
-design -and execute -A-B, Multivariate, and DOE tests to prove
Leverage -the latest -analytical tools -and data mining
Create -presentations -leveraging data visualization tools -that
clearly and concisely communicate analytical findings and
recommendations to key -stakeholders. -Be very comfortable
communicating complex analytical insights in simple to understand
Support ad hoc analytic -and reporting -needs -as requested.
Bachelor's -in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data
Analytics, Statistics, -or -other -relevant -field.
1-2 -years' experience -in a quantitative analytics role.
Experience with data -programming languages (e.g. -SQL,
Experience with statistics - especially hypothesis testing and
design of experiments (DOE)
Understanding of relational databases.
Ability to clearly communicate business insights both verbally and
Experience with web analytics, including techniques like A/B
testing, canary testing, and feature flags, and tools such as
Experience -with predictive modeling.
Experience with dashboard tools like PowerBI or Tableau
