Associate Vice President, Media Strategy: REMOTE - C-4 Analytics

C-4 Analytics is a fast-growing, private, digital marketing company that excels at helping automotive dealerships increase sales, increase market share, and lower cost per acquisition. We are currently hiring for an Associate Vice President, Media Strategy: REMOTE - C-4 Analytics, as we look to expand our team.

Who are you? Associate Vice President, Media Strategy:

C-4 Analytics is looking for an Associate Vice President, Media Strategy guru that understands online and offline advertising channels with an emphasis on digital. Experience in Tier 3 Automotive is a plus though not a requirement.

The AVP of Media Strategy leads the effective development of comprehensive full funnel marketing and media strategies that our account and media teams roll out across our clients. The successful candidate knows that we live in a digital-first world and the discussion has shifted from that of "digital versus traditional" to "online and offline" media opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership position with an opportunity to make a big impact with the growth of paid media across our client portfolio.

This role is the primary driver of our quarterly, monthly and weekly media playbooks that we roll out to our clients. The successful candidate is able to identify the best mix of media channels to deliver effective marketing and advertising messages to the targeted audience(S) using data-driven (1st party, 3rd party and syndicated) analysis and insights. Media planning and buying experience is essential. The ability to negotiate with media vendors for media space and time, monitor placements and manage contracts is desired.

ROAS, CDP, CRO, ROI and DMA are acronyms that make you smile. You have a clear POV on when to say "CTV" or "OTT".

This position reports to the COO with close connection to the Vice President of Paid Media. You will have a high level of engagement with our Client Services leadership team for account and initiative prioritization.

A Day/Week/Month in the Life of the AVP of Media Strategy:
Develop media and marketing initiatives that help the client-facing C-4 teams pitch/present new campaigns and strategies which will positively impact our clients business.
Work directly with leaders of our paid media, content, and creative teams to analyze data, think creatively, and dream up innovative strategies to make sure marketing campaigns reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible.
Drive quarterly and monthly playbooks
Join client strategy conversations to advise account directors / managers.
Drive meaningful and actionable insights through data analysis; develop and execute tactical action plans.
Engage in enterprise-wide strategic leadership, coordination, training and execution oversight of paid media initiatives across our clients.
Partner with Client Services leadership to work on the company's toughest challenges (e.g., Shifting budgets from less effective to more effective media channels).
Conduct continuous improvement projects.
Work with Platform partners to achieve account best practices and revenue goals (i.e., Facebook, Snapchat, AIM, Google, and Bing, as well as radio and direct mail).

Requirements of an Associate Vice President, Media Strategy:: BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field preferred
7+ years experience in providing strategic advice to help our advertisers get the best return on advertising investment, including direct experience:
Structuring storylines for presentations; from uncovering insights to developing materials.
Track record in marketing, advertising, media account management, and successful client engagement and consistent business growth.
Success working against success metrics and benchmarks.
Establishing / leveraging relationships with media vendors in all online and offline channels (including digital, radio, direct mail)
5+ years of marketing, media and analytics experience
5+ years of 3rd party vendor communication
Proficient with tools such as G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Proven track record of strong inter-departmental communication skills.
Experience with a CDP with a marketing-savvy data science lens
Agency experience is a plus (does not have to be automotive)

This position may operate in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones, etc.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
This position may also operate in a hybrid capacity for employees residing within a commutable distance to our Wakefield, MA office however daily attendance to the office is not required.
