POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: _Administrative Specialist, Part Time, Raleigh, NC_DickersonBakker is a consulting firm established in 1985 that works primarily with faith-based nonprofit organizations, providing fundraising and executive search consulting services. Our team of 35+ is located all across the USA. At present we have one physical office in Raleigh, NC (where this position will be located) and one office in Coppell, TX (north DFW area). You can learn more about our company by visiting our website at _. We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Specialist in our Raleigh office. This is a part-time position (20-24 hours per week). We are located in an office complex at 7511 Mourning Dove Rd in the North Raleigh area. Work hours will be during the normal workday, and we can be flexible in scheduling your work hours, as reasonable. This is _ not _ a remote position. Your job will be three-fold : 1) You will manage the day-to-day clerical functions of our Raleigh office, 2) You will provide support to and in tandem with our Accounting Specialist, 3) you will assist the SVP of Finance & Administration with corporate administrative responsibilities.This position reports directly to the SVP of Finance & Administration. Specifically, your PRIMARY duties will include (but are not limited to): Drafting ancillary Contracts, Quotes and MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding)nin Microsoft Word & Adobe DC Pro) Expense Report Support and Submissions and Approvals State Registrations and Compliance (will train) Broadcast Media Underwriting (contracts and schedules) Mail pickup and distribution Office inventory and general "care of" the office General Administrative and Clerical assistance to the SVP of Finance & Administration Your other duties will include (but are not limited to): Providing general care and oversight of the Raleigh office Managing office supplies Assisting with training, webinars, conferences, and event preparations and planning Providing assistance to marketing team during peak times Occasional errands Occasional assistance to President/Owner The successful candidate will have these traits, characteristics, and experience: Cheerful, amiable disposition; ready-to-help attitude; good social "graces" Good communication/people skills and a pleasant phone manner Well-organized with high attention to detail Must be flexible, teachable, and quick to learn Must be trustworthy and full of integrity Self-motivated; able to take direction and complete work with minimal supervision Must be "tech-savvy" with proficient computer skills (Mac, primarily) Proficient in the use of MS Office, (Word, Excel) is a must 5-years or greater experience is preferred. Prior non-profit experience is a plus, particularly within faith-based sector Must be able to sit at a desk 4 to 6 hours per day Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record is also required Must have reliable transportationIf interested, please reply with your resume and cover letter , summarizing your background, experience, and why you think you'd be a good fit .
