Administrative AssistantWe are currently seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant for our Raleigh location. Working closely with and reporting to the Intake Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant functions as a primary point of contact and an information source for new and existing Southlight clients. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks including greeting and scheduling clients and visitors, contacting clients to remind them of appointments, collecting copays and service fees, answering and routing calls and keeping paperwork organized. With outpatient and community-based programs, SouthLight provides prevention, education and treatment services in the Triangle and beyond. SouthLight has multiple office locations throughout the Triangle area, serving more than 9,000 clients each year. Services include adult outpatient counseling, Intensive Outpatient Program, Psychiatric Services and Medication Management, Opioid Treatment Program, Court Deferral Program, Peer Support Services, Family Centered Treatment, Community Support Team and a residential treatment program for women and children and more.Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides check in services for all scheduled client appointments
  • Responsible for in-person and phone support, providing information regarding treatment services and general inquires and connecting to the appropriate source as needed
  • Utilize electronic medical record to assist clients and staff with scheduled appointments as needed
  • Make daily appointment reminder calls to clients
  • In coordination with Intake Coordinator, prepare and process new client intake paperwork and assist with scheduled intakes as needed
  • Prepare telehealth room and equipment prior to scheduled appointments, make sure successful video connection has been made and stand by during consult to provide technical assistance when necessary
  • Perform skilled keyboarding and accurate data entry in a fully integrated electronic medical record system
  • Collect and reconcile cash/credit card co-pays and service fees from clients upon registration
  • Provide general administrative support for the program including filing, typing, copying, data entry and faxing in a prompt, efficient and cooperative manner Qualifications:Ability to work 5am - 1pm Educational and Experience
    • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
    • Minimum one year of experience in front office, customer service or related field. Behavioral health experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match.
