Position Information:
The Desktop and Client Support Administrator is responsible for providing reliable, effective, and efficient client side computing environments across all WakeMed locations. Provides input to the current architecture, planning, and maintenance strategies of the enterprise desktop, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile device environments. Performs desktop and laptop system image management and application packaging process deployments, and patch management to ensure efficient system delivery and also provides Tier 3 technical support to the Desktop and Client Services Technicians.
Experience Requirements:
1 Year Information Technology - Desktop Operations and Support And Information Technology - System Image Management And Information Technology - Application Deployment And Information Technology - Mobile Device Management And Information Technology - Audio Visual In Large-scale User Environment Required - With Associate's Degree In Healthcare - Multi-Hospital System Preferred - And 3 Years Required - With High School Diploma
Education Required:
Associate's Degree In Information Technology Or Computer Science Or Related Field Preferred - Or High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or Equivalent Experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Network Technology Or Related Certification Preferred
Hours of Work:
Moday- Friday 0800-1630
Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
