We want to build a strong value proposition for key consumer and small business segments by identifying gaps and opportunities and building capabilities to transform how we engage customers and deliver advice.The Business Support Consultant 5 role in the Policy and Requirements Management Office will play a critically important role in assessing and mitigating compliance risks and will be a key contributor to a risk-based, front line business policy and regulatory compliance program for DPG to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise policies, and DPG's policies and procedures. The Business Support Consultant 5 will also evaluate business programs to ensure the ability to identify and understand applicable UDAAP risk (including regulatory expectations), and risk management practices to assess, mitigate, and ensure effective control of these risks through governance, policies, procedures, training and awareness, metrics and reporting, and issue identification and escalation.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining DPG's inventory of regulatory requirements, enterprise policies and procedures, and DPG policy requirements and procedures as needed
  • Maintaining an adherence dashboard to provide real time status of adherence, gaps and remediation efforts, accountability owners, and evidence adherence documentation
  • Acting as first Point of Contact for internal and external inquiries on policy and regulatory requirements adherence
  • Managing execution of new Regulatory Requirements (actions), including MRA, CO, etc.
  • Conducting policy reviews and supporting process updates
  • Ensuring DPG's compliance with Enterprise policies and objectives and guidance from compliance leadership
  • Coordinating activities across multiple businesses and risk areas, involving multiple systems and operating platforms
  • Driving issue management and follow up, and working with businesses to communicate results and recommendations
  • Monitoring issues in Enterprise systems of record (i.e., Archer, RANBI)
  • Working closely with Control, Risk, Compliance, and Legal partners, across the Enterprise to drive efforts to address areas of identified risk
  • Supporting relationships with key stakeholders to identify and influence areas of focus for complianceRequired Qualifications
    • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planningDesired Qualifications
      • A BS/BA degree or higher
      • 8+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
      • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
      • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
      • Ability to work with limited supervision
      • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
      • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
      • Experience successfully escalating complex issues and tracking follow-through to completion
      • Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders
      • Experience developing improvement processes and implementation strategies
      • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
      • Experience with governance and oversight requirements for regulatory and risk reportingOther Desired Qualifications
        • Extensive knowledge of risk-based regulatory compliance including the industry and laws and regulations that apply to areas of responsibility
        • Strong operational skills and experience executing on implementation of complex initiatives
        • Strong skills in coordinating across many business lines and working in an environment with multiple systems and processes
        • Exposure to Wells Fargo's Shared Risk Platform (Archer)
