positions to join a core team essential to executing our business
plan, which provides for 160 MW in activity in multiple regions. We

www.Holocene-energy.com. Job Description As the Controller, the job
requires undertaking all aspects of financial management, including
corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget
and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal
control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will
also include financial risk management. The primary duties of the
financial controller include managing accounting records, ensuring
compliance with the given regulation, evaluating and managing risk,
overseeing accounting operations, , tracking expenditures,
analyzing financial information, forecasting income, ensuring the
accuracy of financial information, coordinating auditing
strategies. Job Responsibilities include: Assist the managers and
leadership team in project budgets, cost to actual reporting
Prepare financial schedules and reports for internal and external
parties and auditors Prepare variance and trend analysis and ad hoc
requests Work with cross-functional teams across the company
Perform the month-end financial accounting close Reconcile bank
accounts Cash management, which includes cash flow reporting and
daily cash management Collaborate with senior management on
operational budgets Manage filings of legal and regulatory
documents Manage new vendor/customer/job set up including COIs, W9s
and contact information Manage all accounting processes including
journal entries Manage bookkeeper and daily accounting department
activities Coordinate filing of property taxes and review property
taxes when invoices are received Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Bachelor---s degree required; CPA and/or master---s
degree preferred 5-7 years experience including supervision 2-4
years of experience working in solar development industry preferred
Skilled in verbal and written communication, including delivering
presentations; persuasive communicator Knowledge of generally
accepted accounting practices and principles Strong strategic,
analytical and financial planning skills Experience with asset
accounting Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
environment Possess keen attention to detail Eager to work, lead
and thrive in a culture of respect, communication, and
accountability in a dynamic environment Strong business acumen
Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred Proficiency in MS Office Working
Conditions Office is in Raleigh, NC. Time will be split between an
