professionals worldwide. Job purposeBaebies is looking for a Senior
Accountant to assist in maintaining financial records and to ensure
financial transactions are properly recorded. This role will help
ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile
subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. The Senior
Accountant role will work with the Vice President of Finance to
prepare an accurate, reconciled balance sheet for the company.
Additionally this role will oversee the accounts receivable and
accounts payable functions. The position will report to the Vice
President of Finance and work closely with our Customer Support,
Operations, and Purchasing.This position is a hybrid on-site and
work from home, with on-site requirement during initial phase of
on-boarding, approximately 6 months.Duties and
responsibilitiesPrimary job responsibilities will include, but may
not be limited to:Managing the day-to-day accounting process and
general ledger.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations on a
monthly basis.Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and
manage vendor payment cycle.Process credit card transactions and
expense report reimbursement.Oversite of the accounts receivable
processes, including statement, invoice, and credit memo
processing.Manage Sales and Use Tax and state registrations in
partnership with Avalara.Provide support as needed for fixed asset
and property tax reporting, as well as process improvement with
internal tracking of fixed assets.Prepare ad-hoc financial reports
as needed.Take on ad-hoc departmental projects as needed and
support process improvement. QualificationsTo be successful in this
role, you should have a good grasp of accounting practices, and
strong organizational skills. An outstanding candidate will
demonstrate excellent communication skills and a knack for working
with numbers. Strong Excel experience.You should be able to
multitask, deal with others in a professional manner, and have the
ability to pass on knowledge and train in areas of experience.You
should be interested in gaining exposure to more complex areas of
accounting and in assisting the accounting department with the
preparation of financial reports as well as ensuring their
accuracy.Education and Ideal Experience includes the following:--
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline required. CPA
or other professional certifications are a plus.-- 5 years general
accounting experience.-- Sales Tax filing and state registration
experience is a plus but will train the right candidate. --
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and
accounting systems required. Experience with Net Suite, Avalara,
Stampli and Replicon or similar systems is a plus.-- Must have the
ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under
daily, weekly monthly and quarterly close deadlines. Superior
attention to detail a must. Must bring a process improvement/work
simplification mindset.-- Ability to work independently and within
a team environment, and able to make well-reasoned and timely
decisions. Compensation & BenefitsExpected Salary Range:
$80,000-97,0000. (Most candidates will fall at the midpoint of this
