Job Description:
Position Description: Performs design evaluations for Virtualization/Data masking and
implements database virtualization across enterprise, using Oracle,
NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, and MSSQL. Delivers Database
Virtualization as a Service with emphasis on Cloud. Automates
development pipelines using Continuous Integration and Continuous
Delivery (CI/CD). Develops and maintains platforms using Amazon Web
Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud based database technologies. Builds
APIs for a Delphix platform. Provides technical guidance on the
design and implementation of complex virtualization. Primary Responsibilities: Modifies existing databases and database management systems or
collaborates with programmers and analysts to make changes. Develops methods for integrating different products to work
properly together such as customizing commercial databases to fit
specific needs. Provides technical guidance on the design and implementation of
complex databases. Documents design, operational procedures, and standards for
highly complex/business critical databases. Tests and implements new design features for general use. Defines and evaluates database maintenance tools and build
processes. Establishes performance tuning criteria and methods in
coordination with internal and external technical resources. Designs, evaluates, and executes highly complex database
performance and functionality testing. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex
projects. Provides technical evaluation estimates on technology
initiatives. Develops and maintains policies, procedures, and techniques in
order to minimize future incident occurrence. Defines security requirements and operational procedures to
ensure network integrity, physical protection, and authorized
access to the network and applications. Develops business cases to justify information security
architecture initiatives. Enforces storage management standards. Defines the scope of change and impact to other interfaces. Creates high level architecture design for the enterprise. Mentors junior team members. Performs database administration in large complex database
environments. Designs and supports distributed databases, Data Virtualization
Tools, and NoSQL technologies. Performs data movement and replication technologies. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of
experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
performing Oracle database administration and Delphix
Virtualization on premises using Cloud technologies. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related
field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three
(3) years of experience performing Oracle database administration
and Delphix Virtualization on premises using Cloud
technologies. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing database virtualization
design and implementing Cloud applications, using Delphix tool
service; designing migration strategies for migrating on-premises,
physical databases to the Cloud; and performing virtual
infrastructure migrations to Oracle Cloud, Azure, and Amazon Web
Services (AWS). DE configuring and performing database replication using
Goldengate and DataGuard on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
for asset management database environments. DE building CI/CD pipelines across systems, using Nexus,
Jenkins, Artifacts, Liquibase, and uDeploy; performing database
virtualization, using Delphix and refresh automation; and
implementing Data Masking for database virtualization deployment
across the enterprise. DE automating, securing and scaling database virtualization on
the Cloud; and architecting and designing effective, efficient,
