What you'll be doing

  Learning about cloud native processes, infrastructure, and architecture.
  
  
• 
  Understand cloud services and helping enable teams adopt and troubleshoot them.
  
  
• 
  Assist in create processes and automation to address problems and inefficiencies and document them.
  
  
• 
  Embrace the DevOps mantra of repeatable, maintainable, and scalable.
  
  
• 
  Support modern scalable and flexible CI/CD process that enforce standards using modern tools to create and update infrastructure, applications, micro services, and serverless.
  
  
• 
  Treating infrastructure and processes as code.
  
  
• 
  Participate in peer-review in other team members' code and documentation.
  
  
• 
  Interacts with DevOps' customers, translating needs into requirements, communicating status, and sets expectations effectively.
  
  
• 
  Participate in dialogue among the entire team.
  
  
• 
  Identify potential problems and potential solutions, research, and discusses with the team.
  
  
• 
  Understand company goals and metrics and align with initiatives.
  
  
• 
  Challenge yourself to stay current with latest technology trends.

  What you need
  
  • 
    
  • 
    A current undergrad majoring in Computer Science
    
    
  • 
    Initial understanding of architectural design patterns from a software and cloud infrastructure/services perspective
    
    
  • 
    Some experience and understanding of Cloud technologies and services
    
    
  • 
    Some cloud administration, automation, deployment practices, databases, SQL, entry-level program ming and scripting skills
    
    
  • 
    DevOps mindset
    
    
  • 
    experience in exception handling, logging, monitoring, performance measurement, operational metrics knowledge
    
    
  • 
    Effective communication skills
    
    
    The pay range for this position is $28/hourly. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
